Frequently Asked Questions

  • What is your dues structure?
    • Our associates (supplier members) are charged a flat $499.00 per year.
    • Our properties are charged a base rate (between $150-450) and a variable rate based on the number of units.
      • $2.20 per unit (1-200 units) + $150 base

      • $1.50 per unit (201-500 units) + $250 base

      • $1.25 per unit (501-1500 units) + $350 base

      • $0.99 per unit (1500+ units) + $450 base

  • When should I expect a renewal invoice?
    • Our membership runs the calendar year, January 1st - December 31st.
    • Expect invoices via e-mail. by December 1st of a calendar year for the following year.
  • Do you prorate?
    • Any new member not active in two calendar years will be eligible for a proration after September 30th of that calendar year.  Not applicable to associate (supplier) members.
  • Do you offer any other memberships?
    • We have opportunities for management companies and affiliate groups that want to underwrite our advocacy efforts.  These must be approved by the Board of Directors.

  •  The Click and Lease Digital Leasing Software requires it's own license with NAA directly, there is a requirement of membership at your local apartment association to obtain this license.
  • In the event your property transitioned from/to management and a balance is owed to Click and Lease, that must be satisfied with NAA, and we are unable to lift that hold regardless of your membership status with us. 

 

Community/Owner

Community/Owner membership is open exclusively to:

  • Individuals or entities with ownership in residential units;

  • Owners or managers of a single residential property;

  • Management companies that wish to utilize NAA benefits at the property level.

Associate/Supplier

Supplier Membership is open exclusively to businesses, organizations, or individuals that provide products or services to the multifamily housing industry. This includes, but is not limited to, vendors, contractors, consultants, and service providers who support the operations, maintenance, management, or development of multifamily properties.

This membership category is designed to foster business relationships, offer networking opportunities, and provide industry exposure within the multifamily housing community.
