ACT NOW: Call and Email Your Assembly Person and Speaker Heastie Opposing the REST Act
The New York State Assembly is within days of moving the REST Act (rent control for Upstate) to the floor for a vote. Your voice counts, there is still time to block the REST Act this year! Our best strategy right now is for individual Assembly members to tell their Leadership that they oppose bringing the REST Act to a vote.
The Ask
-
Please call and/or email (sample email) your Assembly member immediately and urge them to tell Assembly Leadership not to bring the REST Act up for a vote this year. Find your assembly member information here.
